Google Play developer account suspension and Why Google treats you like a criminal
Google Play developer account suspended
My developer account was suspended on 9.10.2019 with the reason "Multiple violations of the Developer Program Policies and Developer Distribution Agreement".
The account was suspended because I had 5 suspended apps of 80+ active (most of them with 4.4+ rating and one of them with 1M installations)
These apps were suspended with the reason for "some policy" violation with no other additional information for what is the real problem causing this.
You have the option to contact the play console support team, but you can't get any additional information, because the human element in the support team is missing.
You get a template email similar to the auto-generated one which informs you that your app is suspended, and you are not sure is this a person or some AI.
Your rights end here! You can only contact the support team, which is useless in most situations!
You can't get information, you can't upload fixed version (if you can guess what the AI or inspecting person saw), you can do nothing.
The policies are not applied fairly and equally for all!
Are all the apps of the big companies 100% policy complaint? No way
Is there a suspended app that is developed by a big company? No
For me, this is an application of double standard and abuse of supremacy.
Account suspension is not a fair partnership!
We (the developers) are those who keep play store alive and this partnership is not fair.
If the app is not policy compliant, we should have the option to fix the problem.
If the fix not applied, then the app should be suspended.
The app suspension should not lead to account suspension.
Now if there is a problem, the app is suspended directly and this app suspension leads to account suspension.
Think twice before you start developing an app for play store!
Because you don't know when your account will be suspended.
